Volunteers:

Volunteer coaches are needed to enable Junior Redwings Volleyball to exist.  We are in need of volunteers for coaching and encourage everyone to volunteer their time, if at all possible. If you cannot help, please
do your best to support those that do. We have a good time teaching and helping the kids learn. You need no formal training to become a coach and there will be an informal training session for all the volunteers
provided by our local High School Players and/or Coaches right here in St. Johns. This training session will take place the week before the season begins.

Come and have fun with your child. The girls will learn the basic fundamentals of volleyball which will better prepare them for future participation in school sports.

The time and date of the coach's training session will be posted or announced the night of the sign-up. If you signed up by mail, you will be notified about the coach's session by phone.

Season Information:

The season will run April 17, 2010, through May 22, 2010 on Saturday Mornings 9am -11:00am.  This intramural girls volleyball program will teach the girls the fundamentals of volleyball that they will need to
pursue this sport in middle school and high school. Saturday's schedules will be that the first half of the time will be spent on fundamentals and the remaining time the players will be divided and they will scrimmage each other. Each grade level will practice and scrimmage together.
