Jr. Redwings Wrestling

Last Updated: Oct. 29th 2011

Attention All Parents

It feels like fall outside, football season is in full swing and that means it is time to start thinking about WRESTLING!!!  Practices will be held at the Southpoint Mall again this year.  The wrestlers will be practicing Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Friday will be coach’s choice.  Participation in all three practices is not mandatory but encouraged.  Wrestling practices have begun but competition doesn’t start until January.  There is still alot of time for any boys who want to compete this next season.  We will have a parent meeting the first or second week of practices.

Equipment for practices: Boys should have wrestling shoes or a clean pair of tennis shoes (no street shoes and no metal). T-shirt and shorts. Head gear is highly encouraged and required if your wrestler is planning on competition.  A water bottle is needed since we no longer have access to a drinking fountain. The boys will be working hard and will need water.  Please do not bring sports drinks, sodas or juice.

I am looking forward to a great season.

Thank-you, Jennifer Dominguez
